She had tried many other activities, counseling and medications, but it was Wendel, a bossy little horse at the Center, that captured her heart. Our extraordinary students are special needs individuals and organizations from Southern Massachusetts and neighboring school systems and communities in Rhode Island. WFLC has grown to serve children and adults with various medical and mental conditions, including autism, down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. In addition, WFLC reaches out to children in Massachusetts’s Foster Care system, Child and Family Services and all other agencies of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
